FAYETTE, Miss. (AP) - An Iowa man has been sentenced in southwest Mississippi on three counts of felony child desertion.
Jefferson County Circuit Judge Lamar Pickard sentenced Giraud Parker Jr. of Waterloo, Iowa, Monday to a five-year sentence in state prison and ordered him to pay $12,000 in back child support, plus court cost and fees.
